This Legal page sets out the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Event Terms and Code of Conduct applicable to Singapore Blockchain Week, its website, events, programmes and related services.

Singapore Blockchain Week is organised by Blockchain Association Singapore, with its registered address at 8 Burn Rd, #11-13 Trivex, Singapore 369977 (“we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing this website, registering for or attending a Singapore Blockchain Week event, submitting information to us, or otherwise interacting with Singapore Blockchain Week, you agree to the applicable terms set out below.

1. Terms of Use

1.1 Website Use

This website provides general information about Singapore Blockchain Week, including its programme, speakers, partners, venues, events, registration opportunities and related activities. You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;

• introduce malicious software, automated scraping tools or other harmful technology;

• use content from the website in a misleading, unlawful or unauthorised manner;

• impersonate another person or organisation;

Participation in Singapore Blockchain Week, or the appearance of any company, speaker, project, product or service at Singapore Blockchain Week, does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by Singapore Blockchain Week.

Unless otherwise stated, content produced for Singapore Blockchain Week, including text, graphics, branding, layouts, photographs, video, event materials and other original content, is owned by or licensed to Blockchain Association Singapore. Third-party logos, trademarks and materials remain the property of their respective owners. You may view and share publicly available Singapore Blockchain Week content for personal, editorial or non-commercial purposes, provided that the content is not materially altered or presented in a misleading context. Commercial reproduction, redistribution or use of Singapore Blockchain Week-owned materials requires prior written permission from team@singaporeblockchainweek.org.

2.1 Information We Collect

• technology and event-platform providers;

• professional advisers where reasonably necessary.

Service providers may process personal information on our behalf only for the purposes for which they have been engaged.

Singapore Blockchain Week involves participants, partners and service providers from multiple countries. Your personal information may therefore be processed or stored outside Singapore. 3. Event Terms

These Event Terms apply to attendees, ticket holders, speakers, partners, exhibitors, sponsors, media representatives and other participants in Singapore Blockchain Week events.

3.1 Registration and Admission

Registration or possession of a ticket does not automatically guarantee admission. Singapore Blockchain Week may require attendees to provide valid identification, accreditation or proof of eligibility where relevant. Tickets, invitations and credentials may be personal and non-transferable unless otherwise stated. Singapore Blockchain Week reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission where reasonably necessary for safety, security, compliance with event requirements or breach of these terms or the Code of Conduct.

3.2 Tickets and Fees

Ticket prices, eligibility requirements and entitlements will be stated at the time of registration. Payments may be processed through Luma, VIA (GetVIA), or other approved third-party ticketing or payment providers. Transactions may therefore also be subject to the terms and policies of the relevant provider.

3.3 Programme Changes

Event programmes are subject to change. Singapore Blockchain Week may modify speakers, sessions, venues, schedules, formats or other programme elements where reasonably necessary. The appearance of a particular speaker, organisation or session is not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

3.4 Cancellation, Postponement and Force Majeure

Singapore Blockchain Week may postpone, relocate, modify or cancel an event where circumstances reasonably require it. This may include circumstances beyond Singapore Blockchain Week’s reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, public-health emergencies, governmental restrictions, security incidents, venue closures, transport disruption or other events that materially affect the safe or practical operation of the event.

3.5 Photography, Video and Recording

Photography, filming and audio recording may take place during Singapore Blockchain Week. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear incidentally in photographs, livestreams, video footage or other recordings of the event. Such material may be used by Singapore Blockchain Week for documentation, editorial, archival and promotional purposes. Where practicable, attendees who have specific concerns regarding photography or filming may contact team@singaporeblockchainweek.org.

3.6 Personal Property

Attendees are responsible for their own property while attending Singapore Blockchain Week events. To the extent permitted by law, Singapore Blockchain Week is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where resulting from liability that cannot legally be excluded.

3.7 Travel and Entry Requirements

Attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and ensuring that they satisfy applicable immigration, visa, health and entry requirements. This is particularly relevant where Singapore Blockchain Week programmes involve travel between Singapore and Malaysia. Singapore Blockchain Week cannot guarantee the issuance of any visa, permit or immigration clearance.

3.8 Third-Party and Partner Events

Certain programmes, side events or activities promoted in connection with Singapore Blockchain Week may be organised independently by third parties. Unless expressly stated otherwise, those organisers are responsible for their own events, venues, registrations, safety arrangements and terms. Singapore Blockchain Week is not responsible for the operation of independently organised third-party events.

4. Code of Conduct

Singapore Blockchain Week aims to provide a professional, welcoming and respectful environment for attendees, speakers, partners, staff, volunteers and other participants. This Code of Conduct applies across official Singapore Blockchain Week venues, programmes, networking activities, online spaces and other activities operated directly by Singapore Blockchain Week.

4.1 Expected Behaviour

Participants are expected to:

• treat others professionally and respectfully;

• respect personal boundaries;

• communicate constructively;

• comply with venue and event staff instructions;

• respect the property of venues, organisers and other participants;

• follow applicable laws and safety requirements; and

• contribute to an environment in which participants can engage comfortably and professionally.

4.2 Unacceptable Behaviour

Singapore Blockchain Week does not tolerate behaviour including:

• harassment, intimidation or threats;

• unwanted sexual attention or conduct;

• discriminatory or degrading remarks;

• stalking or persistent unwanted contact;

• deliberate disruption of sessions or events;

• violence or threats of violence;

• inappropriate photography or recording after a reasonable request to stop;

• deliberate damage to property;

• fraudulent or misleading conduct;

• unauthorised solicitation where prohibited by the event; or

• other conduct that creates a serious safety, security or harassment concern.

4.3 Reporting Concerns

Participants who experience or witness inappropriate conduct are encouraged to contact a Singapore Blockchain Week team member. Reports will be handled as discreetly as reasonably possible. Where immediate safety is at risk, participants should contact venue security or the appropriate emergency services.

4.4 Enforcement

Depending on the circumstances, Singapore Blockchain Week may take reasonable action including:

• issuing a warning;

• asking a participant to stop specific behaviour;

• restricting access to particular activities;

• removing a participant from an event;

• cancelling accreditation or tickets;

• restricting participation in future Singapore Blockchain Week events; or

• referring serious matters to venue security or relevant authorities.

Any action taken will depend on the circumstances and seriousness of the issue. Refunds will not ordinarily be provided where a participant is removed for breaching this Code of Conduct or these Event Terms.

5. Changes to These Terms

We may update this Legal page from time to time to reflect changes to Singapore Blockchain Week operations, services, technologies or legal requirements. The current version will be published on this page together with its last updated date. Where appropriate, material changes may also be communicated directly to registered participants.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from these terms or the use of this website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
